Dear School for International Studies Community:
On the evening of Thursday December 10th, 2015, the French Embassy will be hosting a cocktail celebration for the teachers, staff, parents and friends of The School for International Studies. This event will include both a silent and a live auction – the proceeds from which will help us meet our fundraising goal.  Please save this date and plan on attending if you can!
In order to keep our programs running, our classrooms well-equipped, our teachers supported, we are asking you, as a member of the SIS community, for your support.  We’re going to ask those who can to contribute directly to the these efforts in the next weeks and will use the event as a culminating celebration.  Can we also count on you for a donation of an item or service to auction at this event?  Your auction contribution will be truly appreciated. Anything you can give will enhance the learning experience of the children of SIS and ultimately, our community.
Please use this link to fill out the information for the item you are donating.  Some great auction items include vacation home rentals, donating your expertise (i.e. a chef can offer to prepare dinner for four at winners home), and priceless once in a lifetime experiences (i.e. behind the scenes tours of a show, etc.).  And of course, feel free to forward this link to anyone you know that may have an exciting item to contribute.  We will contact you or the donor two weeks before to arrange for delivery or pick-up of item.
Please feel free to email me at if you have any questions. On behalf of the children at SIS and our school community, thank you for your consideration.
Respectfully yours,
Deborah Capone
Fundraising Committee/auction coordinator
